Bottle and Head

Hiked with a friends amongst the Redwoods at Byrne Milliron Forest.  A longtime caretaker of this place lovingly placed "surprises" along the trails, including  bowls of water for canine hikers, mailboxes with poetry and journals, wood-carved creatures (bears, eagles and a head, oh my), fairies and  loved and left little treasures.....and at the ridge-top an amazing view of the town and the bay.  A magical place.
