Old and New

A bit of fair weather gardening this afternoon, adding something extra to the borders which will hopefully make things grow just that little bit more. It was warm enough to sit outside with a cup of tea and to take a few pictures of emerging things. I am never sure when to cut off the old hydrangea flowers so at the moment they are mixing in with new buds and curled up leaves. At least everything in the garden does now feel like it is heading in the right direction - finally.
