Flag Fen

Today we visited Flag Fen which is just outside Peterborough. It's a reproduction of a Bronze Age dwelling house built on an ancient causeway from about 3000 BC. They found 9 log boats at the site which they are preserving. I can't get my head round how ancient they are! It's  a small site but worth a visit on a dull (weatherwise) afternoon.
