Boundary Dwellers

Walk lightly

I do not meditate but, as someone who finds walking the most effective route to calm, Sri Chinmoy's linking of movement and meditation makes sense.

His statue is in the restored Saughton Gardens and there is a running circuit named for him in The Meadows in the city centre.

From the gardens, I walked with a friend along the Water of Leith to Colinton Village (where Robert Louis Stevenson often visited his grandparents), then continued on along the river walk (spotted yellow and blue balloons in one of the weirs) to Currie and then down to Hermiston. Sore feet!
