The Front Yard (Sunday 13th March 2022)

This is Cherry 'Kojo-no-mai', a popular Fuji Cherry that bursts into life about now, when much of the Woodland Garden is still mostly dormant. This one is in a pot in the front yard but will probably go in the ground before autumn, when the leaves turn to fiery shades of orange and red. The blooms should be attractive to bees, providing an early source of nectar.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Primal Scream - Rocks (Live At Barrowlands) (recorded live, 18 December 2019, Barrowlands, Glasgow)
At the moment I am reading Bobby Gillespie's memoir Tenement Kid, so I was keen to hear Liz Kershaw's lunchtime programme Legends In Their Own Lunchtime, featuring Bobby Gillespie, the frontman of Primal Scream. I have posted Rocks before but not this live version, played on the programme, and first broadcast live by 6 Music in 2019. This is the fifteenth appearance of Primal Scream here.
