Aurora Borealis

Last night I was not in the right place at the right time last night. Around 20:30 yesterday, I noticed from the social media that there had been very visible beautiful Aurora Borealis in the sky. But when checking the Ursa Astronomical Association's web camera, only pale Aurora could be seen. Magnetic activity forecast's values didn't look good, the momentum was over. We were already going to sleep when the web camera showed nice looking Aurora again. It was midnight when we left to Turri beach to see how the sky would look. Almost right away when we arrived to the shoreline, Aurora dimmed. We were there only about twenty minutes, and I took less than ten photos. When we were finally in bed, magnetic activity values were very high again, IMF Bz was -22! Too tired to have another go, hopefully we will be luckier next time.

Very warm day today!

+9,8°C, sunny
