Spot the Satellite Dishes

A photo of just a small portion of the sea of daffodils under our big white oak tree. They were here when we bought the place (although they have multiplied more in the 40 years we've been in the house).

The dishes are Directv and HughesNet. We are behind a ridge and never were able to get actual analog TV reception - so we've had Directv forEVER. And HughesNet is one of our two ways of connecting to the interwebs. The other is a DSL line from the phone company (no mobile phone reception here either - the ridge...). Neither of them - DSL or satellite - provide fast enough service to let us stream anything. Pfft.
