Botanical Gardens

I had a hair cut appointment at 9am, she was telling me that they are having unusually high rate of cancellations…..omicron cases or close contacts.  Or maybe just not comfortable going out and about.
Next stop the supermarket, and it was very quiet there as well. Some shelves very sparsely stacked. Fruit and veggies at ridiculous prices.  Thank goodness we have a garden that supplies us with most vegetables.
Early this morning the heavens opened ….. there was water everywhere, and running through our gully.  Since then it’s drizzled and been very cold.  We’ve been nice and snug with the fire going.
I had hoped to spend time in the garden but the rain put paid to that so spent some time editing my fungi photos from Monday, pretty average photography.

As from April we’re opening up to Australia without any isolating, and some other countries will follow, date to be announced.   Can’t come soon enough for our tourist towns. Making some progress finally.

Thanks for for the love on the bee yesterday and and the fungi the previous day, very much appreciated.

I cruised into the Botanical Gardens on the way home and took this, very damp so no real shadows for Wide Wednesday. There are reflecting shadows I suppose.   Some abstract ones in extra
