Pear Frangipane Tart

One of the problems with relying on online shopping only is getting the quantities right.
One moment we don't have enough milk and the next, too much bread.

This week, we had a surfeit of pears thanks to some over ordering so I had to use them up before they turned to the dark side.

So I made a Pear Frangipane tart. I took a wonderful photograph of it yesterday but did not use it.

Now, today, I cannot use it, but in the meantime, the mice have been at the tart and left me with only a small slice to photograph

Served with a dollop of crème fraîche.
