River of Flowers

By doffy

Wednesday: Acer and Hyacinth

Hardly any wind today, temperature around 7°C and drizzly rain until early afternoon.
I sorted out some of my flower seeds this morning.
Started off mixed Calendula and mixed Cosmos in small seed trays in a clear plastic box.
Lots of mixutures of "wild flowers", out of date flowers and yellow rattle (rhinanthus minor) seeds which I mixed and scattered near the primroses behind the garage.
I got slightly damp and very cold but soon warmed up indoors.
Late afternoon noticed that one of my Acers has the first few new leaves and a hyacinth in the long garden near the garage has a few flowers.
