La vida de Annie

By Annie

Aeroclub de Mahon.

Went to the aeroclub today to check on the progress of putting up my prints: the wall has been cleared and half are up. I'll wait until they're all up before blipping it. The club is a popular building, with many events held there and an excellent bar and restaurant (they hosted the Red Arrows team in 2018), but as you can see, the site is looking a bit neglected. I wish someone would at least paint the hanger doors and pull up some weeds. The sky is that dreadful dull colour because of the calima, a thick haze caused by the suspension of Saharan sandy dust in the air. I believe it's in the UK too, but here the usually bright blue sky is completely hidden by a depressing blanket.
