Hangtown Fry

Back in the first week of April, Bellingham blipper "LocalFoodLover" blipped a wonderful looking seafood cook book titled "Oyters A Culinary Celebration."

One look at the cover, and I just had to get a copy too. I found a copy online for one dollar, plus three dollars shipping. One week later, and my book arrived in the mail today!

The book seller represented the book as being in good condition, but failed to mention that the book has extensive hand written notes (a big plus in my opinion), a few notepad pages with notes, and even a newspaper article with a recipe for the "Hangtown Fry" which is an oysters and egg dish, likely most suitable as a breakfast meal.

The book also describes the Hangtown Fry on page 209, and the previous owner had written very detailed notes on this particular recipe.
