Wheat & Wheels Rally

Today we had a pleasant time wandering around at this rally near Ashburton.
It was the 30th Anniversary of the Mid Canterbury Vintage Machine Club Inc.
There were many vintage tractors all lined up in their makes - surprising how many makes there are. New and old. Also the Traction Engines which are always wonderful to see, and they draw a big following. Chaff cutting Stationary engines, wheat cutting, and potato digging machinery all working. And in the Grand Parade there was a section for all the vintage trucks, and cars as well.
