Moving Stories...

Visiting the exhibition "Moving Stories : the wealth of the Limes (the border of the Roman Empire)". The pieces in the exhibition basically had nothing to do with the Roman Empire or the Limes, but referred to the soldiers who came from other places to defend the Roman Empire; the artists from this exhibition also moved from their home to where they made this art, so a very broad interpretation of the curator of the exhibition. Fortunately in the permanent collection there were nice paintings from the ancient Valkhof castle and streetviews from Nijmegen late 19th-beginning 20th century, so it was a good museum visit after all... @ Valkhofmuseum, Nijmegen, the Netherlands
