Once in a Lifetime

Having buckled to L’s pleading to have her birthday party in a venue, for the first time ever, I have actually booked somewhere.

I’m more used to balloons and homemade food at home while dodging the showers in the garden type of affair, so this is well out of my comfort zone. But here we are with a (brown food) buffet, and a DJ to confirm.  

How did I get here?

Gorgeous day, warm sun. Overdid it a bit, but in quite a good way.
