Mile Stone

A few years ago two of these markers were dug up in the hedge a few hundred yards each side of our house, the road was the main road before they built the new A66.
They were restored, the best they could be and repainted and put back in their original places. I have been going to take pictures of them ever since they were put back in place, but never got round to it.
I walked to see a friend today and passed this one, so thought it was a good opportunity to get a snap. Must get the other one done one day.
