Another Hover Fly

The small hover fly, so called because at 5mm long it is half the size of the common hover fly. It is also more colourful. This straight down shot through the wings shows the yellow markings. They are nectar feeders. At present they are so numerous that, along with the cabbage white butterflies, I see more of them than any other creature.
