East beach - Nairn

This is a shot of the East beach, Nairn from the harbour wall. The tide is at its lowest and the andthe angle of the sun is just above the horizon. Because it is so low it shows the ripples in the sand and bathes the whole scene in a mystical morning light. The only sound is the call of the birds digging around for food. A magical time.
