Just because it was.....

....a lovely sunny day....and many others have posted pictures of their magnolias.....and we happen to have one that is flowering it's heart out....here's a Magnolia Stellata Rosea!  Love it and am hoping that it will not suffer in the wind.

Managed to do some weeding, much needed, and was really quite pleased with myself.  The next lot will be attempted when we return from a short break.  That'll be much more of a challenge.  In extras is another shot of my 'drying out' daffodils.  They're really keeping their colour.
