Friends like family

I have known Maeve since we were teenagers (maybe 16 or 17?).
Then met Chris when they started going out about 20 years ago.

Today I went to hang out with them all as a family. A park walk, pub lunch, flying the kite, ice cream....simple and joyous.

They are brilliant friends, so much fun. And now Stanley is a friend for life too.....

In these strange days I am very grateful for friends like these. The history, the teenage shenanigans, the stories, the ups and downs of life, the celebrations, the sad times. We have seen a lot together.
