Last morning

Up early to get packed up for a 10am checkout from our holiday apartment.  It was a beautiful sunny day - with a bit of sea mist drifting in just as we were about to leave.  I kept glancing coastwards as we headed away from Ilfracombe - sure I was missing some good photos!  Ah well.

Had a decent drive back - just under five and a half hours, including a stop at Fleet services.  It's a long old way.  Sad to leave Devon, but nice to get home to our comfy sofa and bed!  Had a much appreciated cuppa when we got in, then got on with unpacking.  Tiring, but good to get it all out of the way, and we had a nice relaxing evening after that, with a salmon stir fry for dinner.
