Cessford Castle

We rather stumbled across this castle whilst driving in the Scottish Borders yesterday.
Cessford Castle was built around 1450 by the first Duke of Roxburghe. It was a stronghold of the Border Reevers who would pillage the northern England villagers. It is situated between Jedburgh and Kelso.
The sun was in the wrong place when I took this so I had to take it through a gap in the hedge and squat down low!
