Mid Wales and Beyond

Tales by the Riverbank.

Many birds use the Rhaeadr river. A few days ago I saw a couple of goosanders and the dippers pass by most days. Today a couple grey wagtails were feeding on the stones. Others bathe in the waters and a heron hunts on the bend just a few yards away. Here, a starling perches on a rock waiting for its mate while a blackbird sings in the willow tree above it.
