World Downs Syndrome Day

I saw a lot of "different socks" - pictures on facebook today. Every day I learn something new :-)

Every year around 3000 - 5000 children with Downs Syndrome get born. In 2018 the UN launched a  5 year "disability inclusion strategy" to strengthen their  rights  in all aspects of the UN's work.  A campaign to bring awareness of the right to decide for yourself was launched, and on this day one post two different socks and #Wedecide.

What a brilliant campaign!
