Ruby

Happiness is for me to spend time with my grandchildren, l especially like the chance for some 1:1.
Had breakfast with Elaine before she went home and l went to Zumba.
Came home and took some ( past it’s best ) Ratten Furniture to the refuse tip.
It had provided good service in both my garden and at Abersoch.
Then l set about dismantling my potting table, proved harder than l expected and made another trip to get it recycled.
Went on to meet Ruby in Ilkley to accompany her for a blood test.
Think l might have mentioned she has injured one of her feet ( sesamoiditus) but the results from a recent MRI scan show she also has a stress fracture in the other foot, so now she is waiting for a CT scan. The consultant suggested a blood test to check her Vitamin D levels and calcium so that happened today and she wanted a bit of moral support as she had never had one before.
All straight forward and l then took her for tea and cake and a catch up.
Took her home so she could get ready to return to Manchester.
I then went to collect Kitty to do the usual Monday journey into Leeds and back so more lovely time spent with another grandchild.
One of those days when you hardly have time to draw breath.
