Return

This is the top quarry of Embleton Quarry where I visited in the autumn.  As you can see it is a sunny and warm day.  That gave us three and half days on sunshine.  It clouded over after 1pm.  A friend told me of this quarry.  You can see some spoil tips from the A66, but the actual quarries have returned to nature,  There were butterflies, I disturbed a rabbit and birdsong.  Sat on a rock and listened, deciding on what would be my next photo.
