Sandy avalanche

We saw the aftermath of several small avalanches today in Anzère. Each one has fresh snow under it and there was a marked difference in colour as so much of the snow is covered in Saharan sand. I carried my camera round in a rucksack when skiing today in case we saw a Bearded Vulture as this area is renowned for sightings, however, we didn’t see any birds of prey today.

A great day’s skiing on empty pistes before we moved on to Vercorin, where we’ve stayed before at this time of year.
