Inside the sweetie shop

You are invited to step through the door and into the tiny shop full of the delights of a bygone time. Into a shop where you can have some of this one and some of that one, each lovingly* dug out of the the large jar, weighed and placed in a bag for you. My favourite is the rhubarb custard although as a child l was partial to the acid drops. What's your favourite, can you remember?

Weather wise: sunny and a high of 19°C today. I have to go the shops to buy a new pair of leggings for pilates, my last pair having developed holes (they were only 10 years old, things just don't last now a days do they)

* l like to think that the person who works in a sweetie shop will always lovingly put the sweet bundles into the bag and perhaps give you an extra to try.
