Life after Burradoo, NSW

The job begins

There's nothing like looking at putting your house on the market to get you started on all those odd jobs  that you've been planning to do for a long time. I took advantage today of an unusually warm autumn day, 27°, and the promise of no rain until tomorrow, to spray all the pavers in the courtyard with a terrific 'spray and leave' product that removes and controls the growth of moss, mould and algae. It takes a few weeks to take effect but it really does work. It's easier than pressure cleaning and its biodegradable.

I wasn't sure if it would work on our very mouldy pavers in front of the garage. This section of our driveway gets very little direct sunlight because it's on the south side of the house. A few weeks ago I experimented on one section and the extra shows the result after a few weeks. Encouraged by that I sprayed a much bigger area of the drive today.

No miraculous offer of a place in a retirement village today. I imagine that that is going to take some months to eventuate.
