solitary

After much ado about nothing, it  was with a spring (pun) in my wheel arch that i set about the daily, vigorous stalking, for flying insects, in their daily pursuit for both nectar and pollen. To now feed themselves (nectar) and their young larvae (pollen). first stop, the now blanket of Aubretia, stunning with its purple skirt.
As is often the case in full sun, the variety of flying bees, from own black bees, solitary bees, hover flies, bee flies, three variety of bumblers, there  is rarely a dull moment. 
I quite often snap away until exhausted. suffering with fatigue, i simply must re-charge.
I have added a 2nd pf dandel.ion purely bcause i was nicely suprised by sharpness at f2.4
