Grey...

...heron

The day was dismal and grey, and the relentless rain scuppered our 'mega walking' plans so I was pretty fed up.
Due to the driving rain I decided to just take Jim for a quick walk around Southlake in Woodley.
I was thrilled to see a heron, who was not that bothered by Jim, and stood around for quite a while letting me take quite a few pictures (quite tricky when Jim is randomly pulling on the lead).
A nice lift on a miserable day :-)
