Early Morning Light

When I left Akaroa this afternoon it was a lovely sunny day. As I was nearing Christchurch the skys were grey and gloomy.

The past two days in Akaroa we had light drizzle and a odd heavy shower. The garden sure got a good watering. It has been very muggy with around 20c each day. It was 25c when I left this afternoon there. 20c in Christchurch.

I had four days of wonderful weather so got a lot things done in the garden. Plenty more to do with the Autumn clean up. 

The emergency siren went off four times while I was in Akaroa. One must have been a serious accident as the rescue helicopter arrived a short time after the siren went off.
