St. Cuthbert’s Way Day 5

Walked a mere 5.5 miles today and crossed the causeway to Holy Island. Another beautiful day - who would have thought it! The photo is of a refuge on the causeway - there are some on the sand too - for those who are caught by the tides. Every year there are cars and walkers apparently despite the signs about checking tides. Must be very frightening. Thankfully we were off with an hour to go for the long drive home.
