Something is afoot…….

…… at the river this morning. A local contracting firm had some big trucks crossing the Taylor River via a ford just upstream from this site. The digger had just trundled its way across the river at the confluence of Doctors Creek. I am trying to contact Council staff to find out what is happening to the river environs. I’ll keep you posted.. We have heard news of dreadful stormy weather and flooding in the Gisborne area of the the North Island.. A huge worry for the folk living in the affected areas.
