We walked into town this morning as I wanted to photograph this fabulous magnolia again.
We were nearly home when my foot went into a 'shoe-sized' dip in the pavement. It threw me off balance, and I ended up on my hands and knees.
My camera took a clout and you can imagine my panic when it wouldn't work. I tried the usual all-purpose fix: I turned it off, then back on, but still nothing.
Then I noticed the battery cover was open and the battery missing - it had shot over the low garden wall next to where I fell!
My camera's working fine again now, phew!
