Regional Finals!

Such a good day. So proud of these boys. To be honest we came expecting nothing. They came second in the counties so were here as second seds for Herts. Twelve teams played. Here is the club write up:

In the junior side of the club the U12 Boys represented Blueharts and Hertfordshire at regionals finals in Kings Lynn. After an epic semi-final battle vs Dereham and no score at minute 11, a very hard hitting opposition finally got the better of the boys with a big shot on goal, saved by GK Will F but the rebound falling back to oppo for a ‘cricket swing’ shot in the final hit of the game. The boys were understandably devastated despite playing brilliantly to have reached this stage. They managed to rally to play the 3rd/4th place play off but couldn’t maintain their previous success and convert in the opposing D, losing 0-2 but finishing 4th place across the entire region of 6 counties.

They deserved the result, they played out of their skins. The other Herts team (who is their bogey team) actually only came 4th out of six in their group, our boys were second in their group, hence making it to the semi-final. All bodes well for next year.
