Evening....!!!

Beautiful light in our western sky tonight...
I imagine the sunset in Galway would have been stunning...

Have had a busy day shopping...and mindful and thankful that I can do so with stories and reports on this evenings news that a whole new cohort of people are struggling to put ‘food on the table’ because of our high rate of inflation....it’s very sad in a country that is basically very wealthy.....and our Government now having a handy ‘cop-out’ saying it is as a result of a ‘war economy ‘ when personally I don’t think we are anywhere near that yet.....as things will probably worsen over the next few months as all sorts of supplies become an issue..!
The other story of interest was about the large numbers of Ukrainian children who have started school here this week all over the country......while it is wonderful that they are in a peaceful situation now, it’s unbelievable to think that only 4 weeks ago they were going to school safely in there own towns and cities....I suppose for the moment they are the lucky ones...!!
