Does my bum look big.... part II

This is one of those Teddy bear bees that whizz around my garden like firecrackers.  Like the blue banded bees, the seem to hold onto a small twig with a mouth part and wipe their legs.  Just why they do that I am not sure, it may be that they are resting however there may be something in that wiping of the legs.   They are buzz pollinators and I often hearing them buzzing around my blue ginger flowers.

It been steady rain all day today and I have nothing much to report other than some domestic chores were accomplished (in between streaming).
