Cartagena

Took the bus to Cartagena, mainly to see the Teatro Romano but it's a very pleasant city in general - a historic naval centre and resplendent in it's faded grandeur. We had a look at the Civil War air raid shelters tunnelled into the hillside and climbed up to the Castle for the view - we also ate some very good tapas and, later on, a very fine torta abuela at the Cafe Columbus (desde 1934...)
