Strong Colours of Spring

A tatty tortoiseshell butterfly flew onto the aubretia today, somehow he or she, has managed to survive the winter. It is 23*C here today, I think the ski season is over!

A big gardening day uncovered a hibernating toad. She is already late for the party as we have plenty of both frog and toad spawn in the pond which needed seriously filling up. Yoga lessons just now then straight to bed for an early start to go to the Grand St. Bernard tomorrow.

Extra of Preston, couldn’t resist that little face, looking pleadingly down from his balcony prison. He can go out on a lead now for a short “walk” and of course wants to stay out!
