Castle Drogo.

A glorious spring day, so we visited said 'castle' just inside Dartmoor. It was actually built 1911-30, and is now a National Trust property.
I noticed a rather inconspicuous looking window, and thought I could pay homage to Henry Fox Talbot's negative of a latticed window at Lacock Abbey, taken in 1835. Most of the effect was simply light filtering through net curtains.
Extra 1: Fingles Bridge. Built around 1600, a Grade 1 listed structure, approx. five kms from the Castle.
Extra 2: Deciding what to take on our picnic lunch.
