Forget-Me-Not

A few forget-me-nots are beginning to show in the garden at the moment. I know that there are many species, some of which can even be found growing wild on Dartmoor. Near where we live they have become established between the pavements and the stone walls where they seem to thrive. The entry in Wikipedia includes a section on the flower's symbolism. It has been used in history as a symbol of remembrance, a masonic badge and as a symbol for alzheimer's societies in the Nederland and also in New Zealand.
