New Shutters.

After living in this house for nearly 16 years, we've decided to put some shutters up.

The windows are plain glass (which I rather liked).  But my husband wanted more privacy, so he put a covering on the glass.  So people couldn't see in.

But no we've got shutters.  They will be good in the summer, when the sun streams in.

Only realized after they went up, that I usually put some little Christmas decorations on the windowsills.

I might still be able to sneak them through the shutters.
