Compromise

Another Dee Why (Sydney) shot from our excursion.
Now, is it a tree or is it an octopus? This long-tentacled inhabitant of the reserve behind the business premises looks as though it's reached a compromise with the seaside/beach environment close by: "I'm a tree, but I'll do my best to imitate a sea creature; can I go on living here with that agreement on my lease?"
Must have appealed to the other party!
