After a morning at work, I took Mum for her fourth Covid vaccination. She had an appointment next week that would have entailed a trip to the far side of Edinburgh, so it was good to hear that they were doing them "ad hoc" at a shopping centre near where she lives. With just an ambulance for supplies, a fluttering banner, and a line of chairs, it was administered "al fresco"! I guess they'd seen the fine forecast for the week, and set it up on the fly. I admired someone's pragmatism.

By the time I'd taken Mum back, done the shopping and called in on her again, the afternoon was almost over when I left to come home, so I stopped on Braid Hills Drive to admire the fine light.
