The Annunciation

25 March is an important date in some people's lives:

1 It is the date on which the Annunciation is celebrated. This, in the Christian faith, is when the Angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to be the mother of Christ.

2 It is my birthday!

Jack and I went to see the new David Hockney inspired exhibition in Cambridge. My blip is a painting by Hockney of the Annunciation. An interesting exhibition that probably needs more than one visit.

Then we walked through sunny Cambridge to Cote for a lovely meal. Home now...tired and older!
