Red Tape Retreat

At the Civic Society coffee morning today we were told that the Council have done a u turn and allowed this modified street sign to remain. This is probably because the sign was put up by the builders on behalf of the people who own the wall, and paid for it to be rebuilt and the sign replaced after the accident. ( no one was hurt ). The milk bottle refers to the landmark that has been there for years, and was also recently re - erected. see extra.
