Magnolia stellata

Today's the day ...................... to sit out

In common with most of the UK today, it's been a gloriously warm and sunny day - and even now, at the end of the afternoon, the outside temperature is in the high teens.

It's been like this for quite a few days now and you could be forgiven for thinking that this is how it's going to continue into April.  Everything in the garden seems to have been fooled into thinking that the warm weather is here to stay.  There are green shoots everywhere and I saw a Great Tit investigate one of the bird boxes.  You could sit out in the garden today and think that you were somewhere abroad.

Unfortunately though, it's all going to go back to normal next week - just when we do go away for a little break.  And the forecast for where we will be is for showers of sleety rain?!

Ah well, t'was ever thus.  I'll keep you posted .....................!
