Gone Away

Something a little controversial: our local caravan park was sold just before Christmas. The van owners weren’t told until the sale had been finalised.
Not only did some van owners suffer destruction from Storm Arwen last Autumn, but vandals broke into some vans and all the sheds were ransacked.
This shot shows what is left of one van’s contents after the owners had removed the van from the site. Other van owners have been given to the end of March to remove their vans from the site. Residents are concerned about what will go up in place of the caravans.
Caravan owners are extremely upset - many have been visiting the village for 25 years and made friends with the villagers.
So sad to see this end of an era - even though we are newbies to the village.
