Genine I Dream of Lilac Time

Do you know the song, “Genine I Dream of Lilac Time”? If so, you must be of a certain age. This song influenced my mom’s name choice for her first born (me) rather than a 3rd generation Genevieve! More than a few people spontaneously started singing this song to me, but, not for many years now. I planted this Lilac in my front yard a couple years ago and this is its first Spring Blossom. So happy I got to enjoy it before leaving on our trip tomorrow morning…. and the gruelingly long cattle flight to Italy. But hey, I can keep enjoying it on my blip page!
